Welcome to Sue Cohen Fine Art. By accessing this website or engaging with Sue Cohen Fine Art for the purchase of artwork, commission of original work, or participation in classes and workshops, you agree to the following terms.

1. Artwork Purchases

All sales of original artwork and giclée prints are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges.

Artwork is carefully packaged for shipping; however, once a package leaves our studio, we are not responsible for damage or loss in transit. We strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance for high-value orders. Title and risk of loss transfer to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier.

Giclée prints are reproduced on archival-quality materials. Color rendering may vary slightly from original artwork as viewed on screen.

2. Commissions

Commissioning a custom artwork begins with a consultation. A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the agreed commission price is required to confirm your commission and reserve time in the artist's schedule. The remaining balance is due upon completion, prior to delivery or shipment of the finished work.

Every commission includes up to two rounds of in-progress review during the creation process. Requests for additional revisions beyond this scope may incur additional fees.

Cancellations: If you cancel a commission after the deposit has been paid, the deposit is forfeited. If the commission is substantially complete at the time of cancellation, the full agreed price may be owed.

All commissioned artwork remains the intellectual property and copyright of Sue Cohen. The buyer receives a physical artwork only. Reproduction rights are not transferred unless expressly agreed upon in a separate written agreement.

3. Classes and Workshops

Enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment.

Cancellation and Refunds:

• Cancellations made more than 7 days before the session date are eligible for a full refund or credit toward a future session.
• Cancellations made within 7 days of the session date are not eligible for a refund.
• If Sue Cohen must cancel a session, registered participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer their registration to a future session at no additional cost.

Photo Consent: By participating in a class or workshop, you consent to being photographed for promotional purposes, including use on this website and social media. If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify the instructor before the session begins.

Minors: Participants under 18 years of age must have written parental or guardian consent to participate.

Materials: Unless otherwise stated, all materials are provided by the instructor for your first session. Students are encouraged to bring their own preferred materials to subsequent sessions.

4. Copyright

All artwork, images, and written content on this website are the exclusive property of Sue Cohen and are protected under United States copyright law (17 U.S.C. § 101 et seq.). Reproduction, distribution, display, or use of any content from this site — in whole or in part — without the prior written permission of Sue Cohen is strictly prohibited.

5. Disclaimer

This website and its contents are provided "as is." Sue Cohen Fine Art makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy or completeness of information on this site. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of this website or reliance on information contained herein.

6. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ventura County, California.
